Duke Griffin formed EcoVision LLC to continue a 35+ year career in building science, construction, and maintenance. I have a passion for safety, energy efficiency, and the maintenance of homes and buildings. I have spent my career in property management, property mantenance, construction/remodel, and I want to share my experience with you, the home buyer, home seller, or home owner. Your home is most likely your most important investment. There is not a lot I haven't seen when inspecting buildings. I have had responsibilities for 10 story condominium projects, Victorian restoration of historical buildings, and multi unit timeshare properties from construction to completion. I want to assist you in your purchase, prepare for the sale, or maintain your home. Think, peace of mind.
I have been trained by American Home Inspection Institue and received my certification. I pass InterNachi's home inspector examination yearly. I have completed, through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, or InterNACHI, the following courses, Structural, Plumbing, Electrical, Moisture Intrusion, Green Building, Safe Practices, Ethics Obstacle Course, Radon Service Provider course, and Infrared-Certified certification. I continue with this education to keep myself up to date. The building industry changes constantly, so I abide by the InterNACHI continuing education policy of 24 CE hours a year, and then some. Continuing education is a must in this ever changing field.
I provide the latest technology for home inspections. I use a FLIR B-CAM Infrared camera, a non intrusive GE SurveyMaster moisture meter, and a combustible gas/CO detector on all inspections. For Radon Detection, I use Sun Nuclear 1027 continuous radon monitors.
